Knaup named as top retailer-advocate
Las Vegas, NV – Ironclad Bicycles owner Sue Knaup was honored by the 2002 Interbike (bicycle industry trade show) as one of three top bicycle specialty retailer-advocates in the U.S.
Some of her accomplishments include founder or co-founder of Prescott Alternative Transportation, Prescott Bicycle Advisory Committee, helping write grants for more than $3 million of community cycling facilities, and promoting bicycling through sponsoring several community activities and events.
In 2002, The Thunderhead Alliance, a national coalition of 88 local and state bicycle advocacy groups, names Knaup as executive director and relocated its headquarters to Prescott.
